I've created my first online Press Kit at sonicbids.com.

Please stop by and take a look at my press kit at: Jimmy Bear's sonicbids.com Press Kit.

Hello again, folks! I've started a new profile page at PureVolume.com http://www.purevolume.com/jimmybearpearson. This is a nice site that is in addition to the already wonderful sites I've found to share my music.

My iSound.com page.
My favorite Audiri.com page.

Of course, you can also see the latest links to my albums here and at The Jimmy Bear Home Page (It's just a starter page... more to come)

Well folks (all one or two of you! ;-)) the new album is out and available on CDBaby.com! You can see it in my list of albums there: ContraRevolutionary. This is a story-telling album that can be listened to as a whole, complete idea, or as a little series of ideas. The music is expressed in electronic rock (or Rock - Electronic, depending on what your ears tell you).

Please give it a listen. It is a departure from my acoustic and bluesy efforts, but is a story I needed to tell.

I hope you enjoy its journey as much as I did.

"Among The Unseen" is a rock-blues instrumental documentary of a recent experience I had when I had to spend a few days in a wheelchair/electric cart due to some medical issues with joints in my foot. This tune is an expression of the feelings of invisibility I had when venturing out into public places.

It was amazing how people ignored me and even treated me as a second-class citizen while I was chair-bound. It was an eye-opening journey, and I hope that this is not how humanity always treats itself.

I am pre-releasing a new tune Among The Unseen at my Audiri.com Jimmy Bear Page to provide a means to foster discourse and open conversation about how society treats those who must depend on mobility aids. I hope that, in some small way, people will look inward for positive motivation to understand those with differences – differences of all kinds.

Peace.

Having found one's true soul-mate is a profound thing.

I rather imagine that the sound of Heaven is the sound of Mrs. Bear saying "I love you."

WOW. What a zillion-mile-an-hour couple of months. With Christmas, kids' events, Mrs. Bear's college work, recordings, and our (my son and I) upcoming participation in The Guitar Center's 'King of The Blues' Guitarmageddon, things have been very hectic. On top of that, I'm working on some acoustic tunes for another album this spring, a pop/rock album, and I've just finished work on my first Rock Electronic album.

Speaking of which, the new album has just been sent to CDBaby for inclusion in my catalogue. The album is called ContraRevolutionary, and is extremely neat! I spent almost a year tinkering with electronic forms mixed with a little funk (on some tunes), and some good ol' rock/blues influences to tie them all together. I'll post a link once the album CD is available through CDBaby.com. This particular album is the one to watch!

The more I see of it, the more I like the Audiri.com site. Lots of good music, wicked fast servers, and a model that's oriented to the listener! Cool stuff there. You can see some of my tunes there (including some previews from ContraRevolutionary and some of my future works)!
